Regardless of your beliefs on past lives, we only get ONE body for this life. One vessel to travel around with. Where would you be if you had no body?
So it's in your best interests to look after it! The body is an amazing healing machine, but even machines require a bit maintenance.

How can lemon juice help?

Lemon juice in (warm) water first thing in the morning has many benefits:

Aids in digestion and detoxification
Lemon juice’s structure is similar to the digestive juices found in the stomach, and stimulates the secretion of gastric juice, which helps keep food moving through your body and gastrointestinal tract smoothly. It helps flush out unwanted materials in part because lemons increase the rate of urination in the body. Therefore toxins are released at a faster rate. The citric acid in lemons helps maximize enzyme function, which stimulates the liver and aids in detoxification.

Boosts Your Immune System
Ascorbic acid (vitamin C), is found in abundance in lemons which is great for fighting colds. They’re high in potassium, which stimulates brain and nerve function. Potassium also helps control blood pressure. Vitamin C found in lemons demonstrates anti-inflammatory effects, and enhances iron absorption in the body; iron plays an important role in immune function. Lemons also contain saponins, which show antimicrobial properties that may help keep cold and flu at bay. Lemons also reduce the amount of phlegm produced by the body.

Balances pH Levels. clears skin and promotes healing
Vitamins C promotes wound healing, and is an essential nutrient in the maintenance of healthy bones, connective tissue, and cartilage.
The vitamin C component as well as other antioxidants helps decrease wrinkles and blemishes and it helps to combat free radical damage. Vitamin C is promotes  healthy glowing skin while its alkaline nature kills some types of bacteria known to cause acne. The vitamin C contained in the lemon rejuvenates the skin from within your body.  As noted previously, vitamin C also displays anti-inflammatory properties. Combined, vitamin C is an essential nutrient in the maintenance of good health and recovery from stress and injury.

Aids in Weight Loss.
Lemons are high in pectin fiber, which helps fight hunger cravings, by helping you feel fuller longer. Studies have shown people who maintain a more alkaline diet, do in fact lose weight faster.

Start your day off right, by making a healthy conscious choice to drink warm lemon water first thing every morning!

The Monkey Trap

In India there are a lot of monkeys. When the locals want to catch one, they anchor a bottle to the ground. The neck of the bottle is just large enough for a monkey's hand to fit through. Then, they put a small banana in the bottle, sit back and wait.

Before long a monkey comes by, sees the banana, reaches his hand into the bottle, and grabs it. But then, the monkey discovers that he can't get his hand out of the bottle while holding onto the banana. There is loud chattering and squealing as the person who set the trap walks up to the monkey and places a burlap sack over him. In the darkness the monkey releases the banana and is captured.

The monkey could, of course, let go of the banana and run before getting caught. Some do. But most of the monkeys hang on to the banana until the sack goes over their head. Why? Because the banana has value to the monkey and the monkey is unwilling to let go of that value. So unwilling that he gives up his life for it. People do the same thing.

What are you holding onto?
What's got you 'trapped'?
What do you need to let go of?
This may be a situation, a person, thoughts, patterns or behaviours that are keeping you from moving forward.

None of us like to feel trapped.
What if we are the ones that have trapped ourselves? What if we are the only thing holding us back?
What if...the only thing holding you back from what you really truly want is.....you?

Now is the time to let go of your 'banana'.
